CoolSculpting® Elite is one of the most versatile and comprehensive fat reduction options. Lux Skin & Lasers can target stubborn bulges that cling to nearly any body area with a full line of fat-freezing applicators. This non-invasive procedure is designed to improve body contours. Most adults who can “pinch an inch” in the stomach or areas mentioned above are good candidates; however, patients should not expect weight loss from their CoolSculpting® Elite treatment series. What can be expected from this treatment is a boost in self-confidence and appearance. Ideal candidates in Philadelphia will be those who want to target fat in the following areas:

On the day of your CoolSculpting Elite treatment in Philadelphia, your provider and the staff will welcome you to Lux Skin Lasers and settle you in our state-of-the-art treatment room. Your treatment plan will be reviewedife you have any additional questions or concerns. This treatment does not require an anesthetic. However, the provider applies a thin sheet of fabric over the skin before beginning the procedure to prevent discomfort and damage to the skin.

To perform CoolSculpting® Elite, the provider applies a small applicator over the target area. This applicator has suction that pulls the tissue in and secures it for the duration of the procedure. As the temperature is adjusted on the device, sensations change from tingling to minor aching to numbness. This all happens within a few minutes. Once numbness occurs, it remains until after the treatment is done. Lux Skin & Lasers is results-driven and strives to go above and beyond. They massage each area for three minutes following the treatment to help achieve the highest efficacy. Massaging the treatment area is vital to the success of the procedure.

Over the following weeks, the body naturally processes and eliminates these dead fat cells. Treated fat cells are gone for good!

Each CoolSculpting session is around 35 minutes in length.

There are very few limitations after CoolSculpting® Elite. We suggest moving the body after fat-freezing sessions, which helps the body process unwanted fat and relieves mild side effects more quickly.

Avoid tight-fitting clothing. Leggings are acceptable as long as the fabric is flexible. Tight jeans and restrictive clothing may be uncomfortable due to the mild swelling.

CoolSculpting® Elite improves body contours by causing crystals to form within fat cells. The body can metabolize and flush the destroyed fat cells for several weeks. While some patients notice a difference in their shape after a few weeks, others do not see much change until at least a month later.

After one CoolSculpting® Elite session, the body processes and eliminates fat for about 12 weeks. Subsequent treatments enhance the fat-reducing effects.
